Edison Lighthouse

The well-loved 70s British pop-rock group Edison Lighthouse were primarily brought to life by the songwriters and record producers Barry Mason and Tony McCaulay, as a showcase for veteran session singer Tony Burrows. The other original band members were: Stuart Edwards (lead guitar), David Taylor (bass), George Weyman (drums), and Ray Dorey (guitar). Edison Lighthouse scored a massive hit in 1970 with the infectiously bouncy, catchy and upbeat pop gem "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)," which peaked at #1 on the UK pop radio charts for five weeks straight and sold 250,000 copies in Britain. Moreover, the song sold a million copies in America and peaked at #4 on the Billboard charts in March, 1970. Thanks to a viral epxlosion via Tik Tok, 'Love Grows' has been enjoying a reinaisance over the last 2 years, hitting millions of streams and billions of views across the globe.

‘Love Grows’ holds a very special place in the heart of our very own ‘Rosemary’ (Hill) whose family sung this song to her throughout her childhood!
